Shopping list

Frozen, french-cut green beans

Cream of mushroom soup

Cheez-Whiz cheese dip

Black pepper

Canned french-fried onions

 

People love nothing more than enjoying some of the extravagant side-dishes that accompany holiday meals. Although it's not the healthiest options, this one is certainly one of tastiest.

Green Bean Casserole; Kraft Style

For everyone that can put the major carlorie burst aside, this Kraft twist on the favorite family side.  

Portions

Three packages (9 oz.) frozen, french-cut green beans

1 can cream of mushroom soup

1 cup of Cheez-Whiz cheese dip

1/8 tsp black pepper

1 can (2.8 oz.) french-fried onions

1. Heat oven to 350 degrees.

2. Mix all of the ingredients except half of the french-fried onions in a 1 1/2 quart casserole dish.

3. Bake 35 minutes, topping with remaining onions after 30 minutes.

4. For early preparation. Prepare as directed except for baking; cover. Refrigerate several hours or overnight.

5. When ready to serve, bake uncovered, at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes or until heated through, topping with remaining onions during the last 5 minutes of baking time.
