Who does not remember learning how to ride a bicycle? It was one of the milestones in life that helped you to gain independence by bringing you from point A to point B without relying on your parents. Even today the bicycle is hotter than ever. The destination is important, but the choice of style is even more pressing. It does not matter if it is raining or the sun is shining, wherever college students go the bicycle is not far. Bubble-gum pink, grass green, powder blue, or a sunny yellow, bikes have taken over college campuses, even La Crosse. This fall bright colors and older styles are the way to go.
Ranging from mountain bikes to designer bicycles, the bike has the ability to be extremely efficient, a great workout, and earth protective. Furthermore, the bike parking facilities on campus provide the opportunity to take the bike with you anywhere you want.
One of the comebacks this fall is the balloon-tired bike, formerly known as the "Cruiser Bicycle." Being America's standard bike of the early 1930s, the wide tires, the large saddle, and the well-formed frame give the traveler the ability to be comfortable, stylish, and ride on flat sandy beaches.
So wherever you go this fall season, watch out for the fashionable bicycles, which are so much more than just two-wheelers.
