Local woman found dead at base of Grandad's Bluff

According to many local news sources, the La Crosse Police Department is currently investigating the death of a 19-year-old woman from Holmen, Wis. Kimberly Coppens reportedly fell from Grandad's Bluff sometime during her disappearance between 3:30 am on Saturday morning and her discovery at the base of the bluff early Saturday afternoon.
Local officers and helicopters searched the area around Grandad's Bluff Saturday morning until, according to the La Crosse Tribune, a friend of Coppens found the body at the base of the bluff. The bluff was shut down for a period of time to allow for further investigation.
Coppens graduated from Holmen High School in 2006 and was a nursing student at Western Technical College.
Police are still looking in to the incident at Grandad's Bluff. At the time of press, further information was not available.
