The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse's men's and women's club volleyball teams did very well at the NIRSA national tournament last weekend in Dallas, Texas.
Both teams lost in the quarterfinals of the gold bracket in their respective divisions, meaning that each team tied for fifth in the country.
The men's team went 3-0 in pool play, beating Robert Morris University, Texas Christian University, and Michigan Tech. They beat Olivet Nazarene in the quarterfinals before falling to Baldwin-Wallace College in the round of eight.
The women's team went 2-1 in pool play, defeating Miami of Ohio and Oregon State, and falling to Duke University. They defeated Purdue University in the quarterfinals before losing a rematch with Miami.
