The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse Equestrian Team, in its first year as a Club Sport at the University of Wisconsin La Crosse had five riders make it to the IHSA (Intercollegiate Horse Show Association) Regionals Horse Show in Madison, Wisconsin. The event was held this weekend, April 12th, 2008 at the Hoofers Equestrian Center with a Zones Competition immediately following on Sunday, April 13th. Emily Harvey-Serflek, Senior at University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and University of Wisconsin-La Crosse Equestrian Team Captain, has made it successfully through both Regional and Zones IHSA competitions down in Madison this weekend. With the help of her trainers/coaches, Tom, Alison, and Melissa Plemmons of La Crosse's Friendship Farm, she will be competing in the IHSA National Championship Horse Show in Burbank, California on May 8-11, 2008.
