Student Association is seeking applicants for its Board of Director positions for the 2008 - 2009 school year. These positions are paid positions that offer UW-L students the opportunity to have a job while being an advocate for UW-L. The available positions cover a broad spectrum of opportunities for any type of student interested in being involved on campus. These positions include: Chief Financial Officer, Secretary, Director of Public Relations, Director of City Affairs, Gender Issues Director, Grassroots/Get Out The Vote Coordinator, Legislative Issues Director, Shared Governance Director, and Social Justice Director.
Each position has a detailed job description as well as serves under the directives set forth by the UW-L Student Association President and Vice-President. Student Association is looking for people who are motivated, hard working and looking for a job where they will be able to make a difference. Applications are available online (www.uwlax.edu/studentassoc) or right outside the Senate Office in 235 Cartwright. Applications will be due on Thursday, May 1st in 212 Cartwright.
