This week, based on some friendly suggestions, I decided to adhere to the needs of the UW-L runner. When I first visited UW-L, one of the most noticeable features was the fact that there were runners all over the place all day long. So I thought it was only fitting to give a leg up to anyone and everyone that was interested in running, whether you are a ten miles per day, six days a week runner, or are just interested in getting started.
In a certain broad sense, genetic engineering is nothing new. Since before the beginning of recorded history, farmers selectively bred prime specimens of domesticated stock to accentuate their desirable traits and create new breeds or improve existing ones.
