Former University of Wisconsin-La Crosse standouts Brian Dunk and Bob Hehli have been named to the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Men's Tennis All-Time Team will be recognized in conjunction with the conference's upcoming Centennial Celebration.  Dunk (1994-95) and Hehli (1994-97) are two of 12 players selected to the All-Time Team.

All-Time Teams are being selected in those men's and women's sports that have been classified as "championship" sports at some point during the conference's 100-year history. Additional teams will be released on a weekly basis throughout much of the 2011-12 academic year.

Dunk compiled a 43-2 singles record in two seasons at UW-L, including 17-0 in the Wisconsin State University Conference (WSUC).  He captured the 1994 conference title at No. 1 singles and teamed with current Eagles' head coach, Bill Hehli, to win the No. 1 doubles crown.  Dunk was a 1995 Intercollegiate Tennis Association All-American in singles.

Bob Hehli played for four years at UW-L, finishing with a 72-23 singles record.  He was 20-3 in singles play in 1994, placing third at No. 4 singles at the WSUC Championships.  Hehli was also on the winning No. 2 doubles team in 1994 with Dan Anderson.  He finished 21-7 in singles in 1995. Hehli was 64-31 in career doubles.  He competed in the 1997 NCAA III Championships and earned ITA All-American honors.

WIAC Commissioner, Gary Karner, remarked that this has been an extremely difficult process given the 100-year span and incomparable success the conference has experienced in most of its sports. Karner noted that in some sports, achieving an All-American status doesn't necessarily guarantee an athlete a spot on the team.
