The Nuclear Medicine Technology (NMT) program has been in the chemistry department practically since its inception, but next year it will be making a move to the health professions department.  As a result of this change, Dr. Jeff C. Bryan, program director of 5 years, will no longer be the NMT director at UW-La Crosse.  We would like to take this opportunity to thank Dr. Bryan.

Dr. Bryan has played a major role in maintaining academic excellence within the NMT program, as it is the best in the nation, with a 100% pass rate on the certification exams.  He has been a great advisor that has consistently supported the better interests of the students in the program.  Internship placement has always been a stressful time for students, but with Dr. Bryan's help, it has been a joyful transition into our professional careers.

As an instructor of Nuclear Physics and Chemistry, he has brought much motivation into our academic careers to strive for excellence.  His profound knowledge and sense of humor has made it a joy to attend class.  He takes a personal interest in each student, knowing that there are special circumstances with almost every student in the program.

As an advisor, instructor, and friend, Dr. Bryan has impacted our lives greatly, both inside and outside of the classroom.  We owe a huge thanks to Dr. Bryan for providing us with the necessary skills for professional development that we will carry with us always.  The program will greatly miss his leadership.

Live long and prosper,

The NMT Class of 2011
